Fifaj Polissage was born in Le Locle, the cradle of Swiss watchmaking. We finish the parts manufactures trust to few hands: cases, bracelets, buckles, bridges, mainplates.
The gesture stays artisanal — abrasive stick, buffing wheel, micromotor — backed by preparation, satin and blasting machines. The aim is not shine for its own sake: it is a true surface, faithful to the specification.

How a part moves through the workshop

Reading
Specification, metal, series or unique piece. The look is fixed before we touch the metal.

Preparation
Lapidary, deburring, masking. A good finish starts with an honest surface.
- 03
Finishing
Polished, satin, bevelled, blasted, pearled — by hand and machine, as the drawing asks.

Control
Raking light, comparison, cleanliness. Nothing leaves if one mark remains.

The wheel, the eye, the pressure: everything is decided to the tenth.
We work to manufacture standards: an irreproachable surface, kept deadlines, serious subcontractor pricing. Series, unique pieces, custom work and after-sales.

Benches, not a showroom
Independent polishing benches, bevelling wheels, lapidary, satin machines, blasting booths, and a mechanics cell to make our own tools.

Do you work only in watchmaking?
Watchmaking is our core: cases, bracelets, movement parts, short and long runs, after-sales and one-offs. We also finish jewellery, high jewellery and selected medical components.
Which materials can you finish?
Gold, platinum, steel, titanium, ceramic, zirconium and meteorite. Each alloy has its own protocol — wheels, compounds and pressure change with the metal.
Do you take small series and after-sales?
Yes. The workshop is sized for unique pieces, precise after-sales work and production series. A small in-house mechanics cell makes our own finishing tools so we stay responsive.
Do you train apprentices?
Yes. Fifaj Polissage is a training company: we teach the trade of watch-case and bracelet finisher.
